Claude Money is a record producer and PhD researcher from Nottingham via Singapore and Spain. Based at Sirkus Studios, he’s been known to work on projects of all genres and has created numerous bespoke pieces for Netflix, BBC Inside Out, and London Fashion Week.
Since 2016, he’s produced a wide variety of tracks for artists including Emily Makis, President T, Window Kid, and Snowy. His breakout single was his remix of Misti Blu Two by Amillionsons, featuring siblings Taka Boom, Chaka Khan, and Mark Stevens, released in 2024. Recently, he put out Al Andalus — a four-track instrumental EP blending genres into a love letter to Andalucía, merging modern British jazz and LA beats hip-hop with rich influences from southern Spain. The release was accompanied by lo-fi stop-frame animations created by Megan Rose, bringing multi-layered artworks to life. The visual inspiration behind the project draws from the colours, iconography, and heritage of Andalusian culture — ideas deeply intertwined with the soul of the music itself.
His passion for culture has now led him full circle. Claude currently works as a researcher at Nottingham Trent University’s Doctoral School, documenting the hidden history of Nottingham’s hip-hop scene — an untold chapter of the UK’s cultural evolution. A creator in constant dialogue with art and intellect, Claude Money’s music lives where culture meets contemplation — the kind of sound that scores galleries, films, and the minds of those who think deeply.
